MEET OUR NUTRITIONIST

Alanna Cabrero MS, RDN, CDN

Alanna Cabrero is the founder of Alanna Cabrero Nutrition, PC. She strongly believes small, sustainable changes in people's eating habits lead to long-term success. Alanna is the outpatient dietitian at the Gastrointestinal Department at NYU. She was also a pediatric and adult onocology dietitian at Columbia University Medical Center for more than six years. She started the nutrition program at New York Health & Racquet Club and worked at Mount Sinai as a GI nutritionist.  She is from Cancun, Mexico and speaks Spanish fluently. Alanna is a registered dietitian nutritionist certified in New York State and a health coach. She received her Master's degree with Alpha Eta honors in Clinical Nutrition from NYIT.


WORKSITE WELLNESS

It's no secret that a high stress, sedentary lifestyle contributes to higher incidence of chronic disease and increased health care costs (for all parties involved!). In addition, this unhealthy lifestyle leads to decreased productivity as well as quality of life. Corporate/worksite wellness events can be extremely effective in creating meaningful health and wellness behavior change that can spill into both personal life and business environment. Take advantage of this worksite wellness initiative.


LUNCH/BREAKFAST & LEARN:

Each workshop is approximately an hour long. The first 30-40 minutes is lecture-format with 15-20 minutes of Q&A. It's an easy, cost-effective way to engage your team whether you are a fortune 500 company, startup, non-for-profit, or a government agency.
